CELEBRATE THE END OF AN ERA!
The Banquet and Prom is a celebratory event coordinated by a volunteer parent group. This year the event is hosted post exams on June 28th, 2024. It is the formal occasion where the grads dress to the nines and celebrate the completion of high school with their classmates and family.
The Banquet (dinner with dressed tables, buffet / food station / social style, cash bar and non-alcoholic drinks) runs from 5:00 pm (doors open) to 9:30 pm with grads and guests. The banquet will encompass a coordinated grad picture and march. At 9:30 – parents leave and then the grads dance and party the night away with their own prom and pizza event.
The prom event is specifically and exclusive for the grads and their dates (if they have one – banquet ticket must be purchased for dates too) and will be inclusive of a DJ, photo booth and vignettes and a late evening pizza party. The event concludes at 11:30 with venue closing at midnight.
It is very similar to the event last year which was extremely successful.
There will be certified bar staff, event security and volunteer parent chaperones to help ensure a safe function for all.
The theme of the evening is still being decided on along with a few other details. As the planning committee progresses, further details will become available and posted here as well as sent out by email.
PRICING – TICKETS FOR GRADS WILL BE $75 per grad. Guest tickets – early bird price is $85 until May 15th! Early bird tickets went on sale May 1st. Fundraising matters to help make the event more affordable and inclusive, “Leaving NO Grad Behind,” the grad committee is working hard to reduce ticket costs. We hope that, if you are able, you can help too so ALL grads can participate.
OF NOTE – The venue is limited to max 750 people for this event. There are approximately 252 graduates, so please understand that quotas are in place to ensure equal opportunity for all graduates and families.
