Banquet Celebration & Prom Ticket Terms

Please read the important information below before proceeding with your purchase. You will be asked to agree to having read and to understanding the following details before checking out with your ticket purchase. Questions or concerns can be emailed to bvhsgrads@gmail.com

  • Banquet & Prom is Friday, June 28th, 2024 and is organized independently of the high school by a volunteer parent grad committee.
  • The event style is a social, cocktail reception with cash bar, a variety of food stations and unassigned banquet seating for eating and cocktail tables for mingling. There is grad march, a variety of photo opportunities, a DJ and more. There is security hired for the event and chaperones
  • Tickets for Graduates are still $75 and will remain at this price all the way through to the day of the event for those who have yet to purchase their grad’s tickets. If you have not yet made a purchase of any tickets, you still can – see appropriate ticket link below these terms for further information.
  • If you do not intend to attend this celebration despite RSVPing on the sign up list as attending, we ask that you email us and advise us of this decision. Tickets are in high demand and we can then release them for sale. You have until May 26th to let us know and then your tickets will be released for purchase by others. If you are experiencing a financial barrier in purchasing tickets, please reach out by email to Mr. Dempster (principal BVHS) to apply for confidential financial support. We have a discrete system in place.
  • For those who have purchased tickets in the first round of sales, you may now purchase an extra tickets for additional guests at $95 per person {maximum 1 | while supplies last | until May 26th }.
  • All ticket purchases will be matched to our master graduate list. If a match cannot be found, purchaser will be contacted to resolve. If a resolution cannot be found OR you have exceeded your grad’s allotment, tickets purchased that exceed the allotment will be refunded and voided.
  • Please understand that the banquet venue has limited capacity and we have a large graduating class.  Tickets are being released in limited amounts to help ensure everyone has a chance to purchase their allotment. We are doing everything we can to make this efficient as possible both for ticket sales and for event check in. We appreciate you adhering to these guidelines to help minimize the time spent on managing this endeavour.
  • Ticket purchases and payment processing is being handled by Zeffy app. Be sure to check your spam folders for the Zeffy app email with your tickets. *If you do not get an email (it can take up to 8 hours) please reach out to the committee at BVHSGRADS@GMAIL.COM – any and all ticket issues will only be discussed via email. Make sure your email is entered correctly upon checkout as that is where you will access your tickets. Further notes about Zeffy and fees are indicated below.
  • Tickets can be downloaded to your phone or you can print the tickets with the QR codes. You must make sure you show up at the venue with all the tickets / codes for every ticket purchased and bring photo ID if you intend to buy alcohol.
  • Note that there is an option to donate to the BVHS Parent Grad Committee on the ticket link. There is no obligation to do so, however the funds raised by donation will be used to continue to support the celebration event and the mandate of “No Grad Left Behind.” Any unused funds are forwarded to the class of 2025.
  • The parent grad committee understands and empathizes that the ticket maximums are difficult to navigate for blended / larger families. If you are a split family, we kindly request that you find a way to work things out for the benefit of your graduate. All families are to organize their ticket purchases accordingly. We cannot mediate, assist or be liable in managing your family / guest structure and purchases.
One last thing!

DEFINITELY READ! The ticket platform we are using is called Zeffy. This secure payment processing app allows us to sell tickets, track guest lists and create QR codes at no cost to us. When paying for your tickets, you can choose to contribute to Zeffy’s platform (OR NOT) by hitting the down arrow on the check out screen and select a preferred amount or none at all! IF YOU END UP CONTRIBUTING, WE CANNOT REFUND ANY PORTION OF THE ZEFFY FEES ONCE PAID FOR.

Gah! We missed the early bird round & do not have any tickets yet!

If you have NOT secured your grad ticket plus guest tickets in the first round of sales, you can still do so although the cost of the additional tickets have gone up! The good news is you may purchase your one grad ticket plus THREE additional tickets under your grad’s name.
If you still need more tickets you can now add yourself to a wait list when you proceed with this ticket purchase process. You will be notified if and when we can continue to release tickets.

High fives! We have our first round of tickets & now we need more!

If you already have your grad’s ticket plus two additional tickets from the early bird stage AND you indicated that you would like to purchase more tickets, you can now add ONE more ticket under your grad’s name.
If you still need more tickets you can now add yourself to a wait list when you proceed with this ticket purchase process. You will be notified if and when we can continue to release tickets.
